Running the server: admin guide¶
The server is one container (or one Python process) with one SQLite file. It serves the shared tracker at /, the standalone tracker at /standalone/, this documentation at /docs/, and an HTTP API under /api. There is no admin screen: logins are managed from the command line, and everything about accounts and sharing is done by the users themselves in the page.
Setting up¶
- Run the server — Docker Compose or plain
uv, reverse proxy and TLS, health checks. - Manage logins — create users, reset passwords.
- Back up and restore — the
backupcommand, a cron routine, restoring. - Upgrade — new image, schema upgrades, rolling back.
